Manyatta United and NCEOD Dominate the Awards at Safaricom’s Chapa Dimba Na SafaricomFebruary 10, 2019

The curtains have come down on the Nyanza Region of Champa Dimba Na Safaricom hosted at Kisumu’s Moi Stadium. Manyatta United Boys won the Boys final by beating Nyamira Springs 5-0 as Ndhiwa Queens from Homa Bay lifted the girls title by hammering Manyatta United Girls 3-0.
As expected, the individual awards were dominated by the victorious teams. Ivonne Ogada finished as the top scorer with a total of seven goals, one of which she scored in the final. Benson Ochieng, Manyatta Boys’ trusted goal-getter won the Golden Boot in the boys category, crowning his campaign with a brace in the final.
Achieng Asher and Ibrahim Ochieng were named as the best players of the tournament.
